When we use different products that is from stores, may give the concerned results, like straightening or volumising or shampooing. But our concern should be to get back the natural condition of hair. For that also we can use store bought conditioners. But most of the time the lab manufactured conditioner cannot give back the natural state of the hair. Our hair is having its own natural state because of the food we eat. That state is slightly disturbed by the use of lab products. In this situation we can think about giving back the natural condition of hair by using natural things that may be mainly from our food items. Means reconditioning hair from the kitchen itself.

Here today I am suggesting a vegetable oriented natural hair conditioner. This is a hair conditioning treatment in a stretch. Some may think that what is the relevance in using these vegetables that is used as food. When we eat food that food get digested and the concerned ingredient reach the scalp through blood circulation. Here when we use these things on the scalp we get the nourishment directly. This is like that we get immediate result when we use oilment than using tablets. This is because of the difference in external application on the affected area and using medicines internally.

Here is the recipe for a natural hair conditioner right from your kitchen. Here the main ingredients are cucumber, tomato, ladies finger, carrot and egg white. For those who don't like egg then use chick pea powder or green gram powder. Take two small cucumbers, one tomato, three ladies fingers, two carrots and one egg. According to the thickness and volume of hair you can increase or decrease the quantity of the ingredients. The cucumber helps to remove the chlorine content if any and it gives cooling effect. It is helping the scalp to adjust its normal state. Tomato acts as a toner that helps bumps in the scalp. It removes scalp itching. Ladies finger works as a good hair conditioning agent. And it deepens the natural color of hair. If the hair is black it makes deep black. If the hair is brown it gives deep reddish color. If it is blond it gives deeply glowing appearance. Carrot make the scalp skin smooth and it gives a complexion to the scalp skin. When you are outside in the sun the scalp won't look like dark. And also the carrot nourishes the growing part of the hair. Egg white makes the hair polished and it gives protein nourishment.

Preparation of natural homemade hair conditioner
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and mash it in a mixer.grinder. Make an average loose paste and add egg white and mix well. You have to use this instantly, do not keep in the refrigerator and use.

How to apply the natural hair conditioner

You can use it while bathing. But it is advisable to use a little oil on the scalp before bathing or applying the natural conditioner. If you don't want to bath now, apply oil and rinse hair in water. Then apply the natural hair conditioner all over the scalp and hair. Make sure that the conditioner reaches everywhere in the scalp and hair. Wait for 10-15 min. and wash hair thoroughly. Towel dry hair and scalp.

Repeat this once in week or as your convenience. This natural hair conditioning treatment not only gives conditioning but also nourishment.

This is another homemade hair oil recipe to get growth. It is made with hibiscus leaves and flowers. Hibiscus is a wonderful plant product for hair growth. Hibiscus leaf is used as a natural shampoo conditioner.(Hibiscus Shampoo) The benefits of hibiscus can be utilized in the form of homemade hibiscus hair oil. This hair oil is used in India to help hair from dandruff and unnatural hair loss which in turn promote hair growth. Women in Kerala used this wonderful product to get thick long hair. But now due to lac of time etc. all go for store bought products.

Hibiscus for hair: How to make homemade hibiscus hair oil
For this you can use the leaves and flowers of this plant. All type of hibiscus can be used. But the plant with thick leaves is better. The juicy and sticky leaves can give better result.

Making of hibiscus for hair (hair oil): Get five flowers. You can use fresh as well one day old flowers. Take 3 fresh leaves also. Chop these ingredients into small pieces. Using a mixer/grinder just crush it. No need to make it a paste. You can get 1/2 cup of it, accordingly add more flowers if needed.Then put this mix into a heating bowl or pan. Add 1 cup of your favorite oil which you uses on hair. May be you can choose coconut oil. Mix well. Heat it in low flame. Now when the fumes starts coming add three leaves of tulsi if you have. And add few grains of corn or rice or fenugreek and see it pops up. At that time switch of the flame. Allow it to cool. Sieve the homemade hibiscus hair oil into a glass bottle.

Before bathing warm the hibiscus hair oil and apply on hair and scalp and do a massage. Wait for 10 min. and take a bath. If you use this homemade hibiscus hair oil at least once in a week consistently that will hep your hair growth well.

Sometimes the facial skin becomes dry for some unknown temporary reason. this can happen to normal skin and combination skin types. One of the reasons may be acidity. The skin shows acidic nature because of food you eat or due to climatic changes etc. During this time the face becomes dull and looks dry. You have to give a little extra care. Here is a soft and natural care that you can give to your skin beauty. Here is a flower pack for dry skin due to acidity. You can use this face pack for other dry skin condition also.

Here you need a hand full of jasmine flower and a rose flower. Get fresh flowers form flower shop or from your garden. Remember to remove the pollen stems from the rose flower. Wash it and clean well. Smash the flowers by adding fresh milk. Add enough flowers to get the required quantity.

Wash face with normal water. Then cleanse the face with cotton ball dipping in fresh milk. Wipe face with water. Apply flower facial pack all over the face. Wait for 10-15 min. and wipe off the pack. This mixture of jasmine and rose flower can reduce the acidic nature of the skin. Also remember to drink apple or carrot juices during this period. Avoid excessive acidic food and drinks. Eat green and leafy vegetables.

When you use hair color, perms and relaxer, the chemicals contained in these products alter the characteristics of hair shaft. This may cause the hair strands to break. In most of the cases the hair tips happen to split apart. The final condition of hair may be you get a frizzy hair. Most importantly the hair may look dull by making the surface of hair strands mat finish or less shiny.

Care for processed hair has to be taken very seriously. Because of the application of strong chemicals, the normal condition of hair might have changed. You hair was oily, but now it may be like combination hair. Most probably by the application of chemicals the tips of the hair and shafts may become more dry than the roots. So you have to treat your hair as a combination hair.

How to use shampoo on a chemically treated hair
If your hair is colored, choose an appropriate shampoo specially designed for colored hair. This shampoo may be more gentle and can protect the color. For a permed or relaxed hair choose moisturizing shampoo. Apply shampoo only on the roots and rub it well. Pour splash of water onto the root. The shampoo will run towards the shaft and give a gentle massage on the shaft to cleanse there. Then rinse the whole hair.

Using conditioner
The conditioner is mainly needed for the tips of hair. Use a rich conditioner. Apply the conditioner mainly on the tips. And gently and lightly apply the conditioner very little towards the shaft. Do not use it on the roots. Rinse well.

Dry your hair naturally. Do not use hair dryer that may make your hair dry. Do not rub vigorously with towel. This can create tangles. Do not wash a processed hair very frequently. On the same time take care to minimize the oily roots. Avoid over sun exposure of hair. Sometimes dry flakes may appear on the scalp. It is not dandruff. It is due to the over dryness there, because the shampoo may be too strong or due to the action of the strong chemicals from hair processing. If the tips are split apart, do trimming the split ends.
