Hi Geeta,
My name is Rita Banerjee from Mumbai. I have read lots of your beauty tips and actually have stared using them in my day to day life. Thanks a lot.

Acutally I need some help from you. I am getting married possibly at the end of this year. I have an Oily face,Oily hair, boils on back. I have some open pores also.

Can u please suggest me some good homeremedeis how to close the open pores, to glow my skin.

I need something to be used instead of soap for my body.. I have started using green gram n its going good. but if you want to suggest anything else that would be great.

My hair is frizzy, waving and oily. Can you suggest some good homeremedies for good growth, healthy, soft and shiny hair..

Waiting for your response....

Hi Rita Banerjee
For boils apply neem leaf powder paste before bathing. As you have oily skin green gram flour is good. With this add a pinch of turmeric powder also.

See the Henna tips in this site. Apply natural henna once in a week. See the different hair packs here.

Do this for open pores

Since you are focusing on skin care my suggestion is drink daily orange juice or carrot juice. This surely give wonders to your skin. Apply carrot face pack, homemade.

Hi Geetha,

This is Rita Banerjee. Thank you so much for your quick reply and for the wonderful remedies.

I would like to ask you one question. The oatmeal powder is the white oatmeal powder you mean to say?

I am 26 years old and have waving and frizzy hair. Can't keep it open always have to tie it up. I have done straighting 4 times. So my hair is now half straight and in the middle waving. Which looks really weird.

Can u suggest me something good for my hair so that i can keep my hair open or a good homemade straightning method. It would be of great help for my marriage.

Waiting for your response. Thank alot..

hey. this is my first time on your site. i love it. i have extremely thick and frizzy hair! is there anyways that you can stop the frizz but still make it really curly??

Geetha Balachandran August 5, 2009 6:26 AM

Hi
Weekly do a Hot oil head massage. This will avoid dry hair if any and control the frizziness.

Geeta Ji

whereever u ve asked for fresh milk as an ingredient....can it be the packet milk...coz i use mother's dairy toned milk...will it do or only pure cow's milk is required?

Geetha Balachandran October 28, 2009 10:30 PM

To Sasmita Tripathy
Use milk (also packet milk) that have full cream in it. And do not heat it.

Please check the elbow is dry and rough. Then use some scrub and apply creams to sooth it. Also check for acidity.
